NATHAN A. JACOBS, Ph.D. is Visiting Scholar of Philosophy at University of Kentucky. He holds advanced degrees in both religion and philosophy. He has served as a professor and lecturer at Calvin College and Seminary, Trinity College and Graduate School, and University of Kentucky. His specializations include modern philosophy and Eastern patristic thought. 

Dr. Jacobs has roughly thirty articles and three books to his credit. His first book (published by Indiana University Press) was nominated for the American Philosophical Association’s Book Prize and the American Academy of Religion’s Textual Analysis Prize. His second (published by University of Notre Dame Press) received the Choice Gold Seal for Outstanding Academic Title. His third was recently published by Cambridge University Press.
